Born in the small village of Comandante Luis Piedra Buena, on the banks of the River Santa Cruz in Argentina, Alexia lived there until she was 16, when she moved to Buenos Aires, where she first developed an interest in the theatre.
In her first theatre role, she played María Josefa in a school production of *La casa de Bernarda Alba*, directed by Sebastián Kalhat and Marcela Bidegain.
